Project Summary
Architectural
Testing Inc. (ATI) was contracted to perform
tests on a Series/Model 1290, aluminum double
hung window. The sample tested successfully
met the performance requirements for a H-C55
54 x 90 rating. Test specimen description and
results are reported herein.

Both sashes
utilized 7/8"" thick insulating glass fabricated
from two sheets of 1/8'' thick clear annealed
glass and a desiccant filled metal spacer
system. The insulating glass was channel
glazed utilizing a flexible wedge gasket.

Construction : The frame was constructed
of extruded aluminum members that employed a
poured-in-place urethane thermal break. The
corners were coped, butted, sealed and fastened
with two screws per corner.
Sash
Construction : The sash was constructed
of extruded aluminum members that employed a
poured-in-place urethane thermal break. The
corners were straight cut, sealed and fastened
with two screws per corner.
Screen
Construction : The screen was constructed
of extruded aluminum members and the corners
were keyed and staked. The screen mesh was held-in-place
with flexible spline.

The test
unit was secured to the 2'' x 10'' wood
test frame with ten screws per jamb. Two
per sash track, 2-¼''from jamb ends and
evenly spaced thereafter. The test unit
was also blind stopped to the interior and
exterior perimeter with wood stops and was
sealed with silicone |

by AT1 for a period of four years. The above
results were secured by using the designated
test methods and they indicate compliance with
the performance requirements of the above referenced
specification. This report does not constitute
certification of this product, which may only
be granted by the certification program administrator.
