rating in accordance with ASTM F588-85. The
following report includes a detailed test specimen
description, test data and results.
Test
Procedure: The test specimen was evaluated
in accordance with:
- AAMA/NWWDA 101/I.S.2-97,
Voluntary Specification for Aluminum, Vinyl
(PVC) and Wood Windows.
- ASTM F588-85, Standard Test
Methods of Resistance of Window Assemblies
to Forced Entry Excluding Glazing.

aluminum members that incorporated a poured-in-place
urethane thermal break with an average debridged
width of 0.135''. All corners were coped, butted,
sealed and fastened with two screws per corner.
Sash Construction
: Both sashes were constructed of extruded
aluminum members that incorporated a poured-in-place
urethane thermal break with an average debridged
width of 0.135''. All corners were coped, butted,
sealed and fastened with two screws per corner.
A 0.052'' thick ''J'' shaped extruded aluminum
reinforcement member was located inside the
exterior sash meeting rail hollow.
