Summary
Architectural Testing Inc.
(ATI) was contracted to perform tests on a Series/Model
3000, aluminum double hung window. The sample
tested successfully met the performance requirements
for a H-C50 54 x 90 rating. Test specimen description
and results are reported herein.

specimen was evaluated in accordance with AAMA/NWWDA
101/I.S.2-97, Voluntary Specification for Aluminum,
Vinyl (PVC) and Wood Windows and Glass Doors.

| Glazing Details |
The exterior sash utilized
13/16'' thick sealed insulating glass fabricated
from two sheets of 3/32'' thick clear annealed
glass and a desiccant filled metal spacer
system. The insulating glass was channel
glazed in a flexible wedge gasket. The interior
sash utilized 7/8'' thick sealed insulating
glass fabricated from two sheets of 1/8''
thick clear annealed glass. All other glazing
aspects are the same as above. |

Frame Construction :
The frame was constructed of extruded aluminum
members that employed a urethane thermal break.
All corners were coped, butted, sealed and fastened
with two screws per corner. The sill extrusion
was reinforced with a tooled plywood insert
that seated up in the extrusion. The jambs utilized
a rigid vinyl sash tract stiffener.
Sash
Construction : The sash was constructed
of extruded aluminum members that employed a
urethane thermal break. All corners were coped,
butted, sealed and fastened with two screws
per corner.
Screen
Construction : The screen was constructed
of extruded aluminum members and all corners
were keyed. The screen mesh was held-in-place
with flexible spline.

the 2'' x 8'' wood test buck with ten screws
per jamb. The exterior perimeter was sealed

drawings, representative samples of the test
specimen and a copy of this report will be retained
by AT1 for a period of four years. The above
results were secured by using the designated
test methods and they indicate compliance with
the performance requirements of the above referenced
specification. This report does not constitute
certification of this product, which may only
be granted by the certification program administrator.
